Charlie Kirk Is Not Dead, His Legacy Lives On

Charlie Kirk is not head, he is more alive than ever

Hate is one of the most destructive forces in our world today. It blinds people, hardens hearts, and causes unimaginable pain and loss. Today, we are reminded of just how devastating hate can be when we learned of the tragic death of Charlie Kirk.

Our hearts go out to his wife, his children, and his entire family during this incredibly difficult time. There are no words that can fully bring comfort, but we can surround them with prayer, love, and support. This heartbreaking loss isn’t just felt by his family but by countless people whose lives Charlie touched through his work and his message.

Whether today’s tragedy was driven by politics or religion, it doesn’t change the truth that it comes from hate. Hate often grows from fear, misunderstanding, or unresolved pain. Someone who is hurt and never seeks healing can easily project that hurt onto others, creating a cycle of destruction.

Jesus warned us about the dangers of letting bitterness take root in our hearts. In Matthew 5:21-22, He said, “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.” This verse reminds us that hate begins long before any action, it starts in the heart.

Even though the shooter thought he could silence Charlie by taking his life, what he didn’t realize is that Charlie’s message will now be heard louder than ever. The impact Charlie left behind is too powerful to be erased.

History has shown us time and again that no death is in vain when it is placed in God’s hands. What the enemy meant for harm, God will turn around for good. Genesis 50:20 says: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Through this tragedy, many people will pause and reflect on their own lives and faith. Because of Charlie’s life and testimony, countless souls will turn to Jesus. His passing will not silence the truth but amplify it.

When we respond to hate with more hate, we give the enemy exactly what he wants: division, chaos, and destruction. But when we choose love, even when it’s the hardest thing to do, we reflect the heart of Christ. Choosing love does not mean staying silent or ignoring evil. It means speaking truth boldly but with grace. It means standing firm in faith while reflecting the light of Jesus.

Jesus gave us the greatest example of love in the midst of hate. As He hung on the cross, beaten and mocked, He prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). If our Savior could respond to hate with forgiveness, then as His followers, we are called to do the same.

In moments like this, fear will try to creep in. Tragedies like Charlie’s death can make us wonder if standing boldly for our faith will cost us our lives. But we must remember this powerful truth: They can kill our flesh, but they can never kill our spirit.

This world is temporary, but our eternal home is with Jesus. As Matthew 10:28 says, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

We must not be scared to follow Christ. Yes, there may be persecution, hatred, and even danger, but this life is just a moment compared to eternity. When we live for Jesus, we live with the assurance that no matter what happens to our bodies, our spirits are safe with Him forever.

As we grieve the loss of Charlie, we can hold on to the promise of eternal life. For those who believe in Jesus, death is not the end. Jesus said in John 11:25,
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

Charlie’s legacy lives on through the impact of his work, his family, and now through the lives that will be changed because of his passing. Hate may have ended his time on earth, but it could never touch his eternal soul. Today, Charlie is more alive than ever, rejoicing in the presence of God.

We cannot simply talk about change, we must be the change. Hate will not disappear on its own. Each of us must make a conscious decision to live differently and reflect Jesus in everything we do.

Here are a few ways to start:

*Pray daily for God to remove bitterness, anger, and hate from our hearts.

*Speak life, not destruction, over others, even those you disagree with.

*Stand boldly for truth, but do so with love and grace.

*Forgive, just as Christ has forgiven you.

*Be a light in dark places, bringing hope wherever you go.

The death of Charlie Kirk is heartbreaking beyond words, but it is not the end of his story. Hate thought it could silence him, but it only gave his message a stronger voice.

Let us honor Charlie by carrying forward the truth he stood for. Let us live boldly for Christ, refusing to let fear control us. This world is temporary, and while our bodies may face trials, our spirits belong to God for all eternity.

No death is ever in vain when God is in control. Through this tragedy, many will surrender to Jesus, faith will be renewed, and lives will be forever changed. Hate may seem powerful in this moment, but in the end, love wins. God wins. And as we continue forward, may we never forget that hate can take a life, but it can never take the eternal soul of a believer in Christ.
